Juliet Romano-Olsen
Guide Collective Intern
Juliet Romano-Olsen is a recent graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle, where she majored in International Studies and minored in French and European Studies. She has traveled with her family in Europe and has worked as a tour assistant on Rick Steves’ Family Tours. For 15 years, she studied Scottish Highland dance, competing around the US and Canada, as well as in Scotland, where she performed with the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
In early 2020, Juliet returned from a study exchange at the Paris Institute of Political Science (more commonly known as Sciences Po), which was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. She hopes to eventually return to Europe for a master’s degree in a field related to public policy and administration. After finishing her education, she aims to be a tour guide, among other things.
At home, Juliet enjoys planning future adventures and spending time in the kitchen, where she can dance, sing, and bake or cook all at once.
