Be a part of this informative and thought-provoking webinar about the quest for Democracy and the Fall of the Berlin Wall.

After 40 years of separation, East Germans started a peaceful revolution that lead to the fall of the Wall—and later towards a united Germany. The Iron curtain fell and new freedom was gained. You will discover what happened that very night in November 1989 when the wall fell: why it happened so fast, what came before and how Germany has since coped, trying to unify and reconcile its past of having been in different camps during the Cold War.

Your guide Holger Zimmer hails from West Germany, but has experienced both East and West Germany and moved to Berlin as soon as the wall had come down. History, knowledge, and firsthand experience from a journalist and free spirit who is based in Berlin since 1990 and has traveled extensively in Eastern Europe. Holger has spent his youth in the amazing creative place that was once East Berlin. Be sure to be surprised and entertained.
