Held—A Poem

To begin, thank you.

Giving back to share your heart and voice.

This space has comforted us while we redefine who we are,

Where we belong,

and find our North again.

Now we can listen to our other inner voices.

Welcome—

Allow this gratitude to breeze through you.

There is no such thing as bad weather,

And we can not hold onto this

Shelter beneath the mighty oak as

rained bows knit the earth back to the sky.

Can you see the horizon?

How do we want this to look?

Dove tails once woven

unravel into time,

Our voices dancing with the rhythm.

we stand, but will not always understand,

So we move as the tides,

Towards then away

Love and gratitude

brings us through this together.

When we are right and

when we are wrong.

Holding this space for each other.

Present the absent.

Proud to be scared.

Humble and held.

Can we be grounded whilst hosting the voices of our global home?

This is us,

We are here,

Breathe into now,

And we will embrace once again.
