Baking with Fran: A Pistachio Christmas Cake

Every Christmas, Fran and his family have a culinary tradition in which they bake a small cake that they give to their friends and family. Sometimes it is chocolate or vanilla, but the ultimate favorite is this pistachio cake.

Here is what you need to cook along:
Eggs - 4
Sugar - 10 oz.
Cream - 3.5 oz.
Butter - 3 oz.
Flour - 7.5 oz.
Baking Powder - 1 tsp.
Pistachios - 3 oz.


Fran Glaria was born and raised in Pamplona, part of the Basque country in northern Spain. His passions for history, art and food, led him to tour guiding. Over 20 years ago, he started a small local guiding company in his hometown. This company evolved into designing tours in the Basque region, and also into organizing tours for the Running of the Bulls festival in Pamplona.
